Intern/Analyst – Part/Time
Position: Research Analyst
Classification: Research Assistant (On Campus)
Location: Remote
Supervisor: Vincent A. Conte, PhD
Purpose: Support the development of curriculum and conduct analysis related to various ongoing research projects in preparation for a variety of courses and educational programs.
Duties and Responsibilities of Research Assistant will include some or all of the following:
- Prepare course material content related to People Analytics, Organization Behavior, Psychology and related fields.
- Participate in training to learn new skills.
- Design assignments associated with course content.
- Post content to Brightspace or other Learning platforms.
- Prepare workshop materials for public events.
- Translate research material from simplified Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Co-lead training programs in English and Chinese
- Support training delivery by preparing materials, managing enrollment, advertising, etc.
- Prepare analytical tools and questionnaires.
- Collect and analyze data using a variety of tools including Excel, R, SPSS, Tableau
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Performance Evaluation:
interim performance feedback will be provided based on project-by-project analysis of goals, tasks, and results. Project performance of each team member will be reviewed on a weekly basis, and a summary of individual performance will be reviewed, and feedback will be provided on a quarterly basis or at the end of each project.
Hours: 20 hours/week, paid at the end of each calendar month.
Pay Rate: In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base salary range for student employment positions are $15-$17 per hour for undergraduate students and $27.50-$28 per hour for graduate students. The hourly rate for graduate employees is based on the collective bargaining agreement with Local 2110.
