Work/Life, LLC. springs from decades of experience helping major corporations, not-for profits, hospitals, and educational organizations. Growing out of their early teamwork in graduate school and building on 20+ years of research, publications and hands-on projects, the founders began a consulting partnership registered in New York State at the beginning of 2009.  Drs. Conte and Salamon, as founding principals have melded their career and life interests into a set of services available to many diverse clients across the country and beyond. Our logo is based on the “tree of life” theme which connects all living beings in one endless flow. The Chinese Calligraphy portrays two characters one for wholeness or holiness and one for work or human action. When we do our best work we are healing ourselves. Satisfaction, engagement and personal sense of meaning, all come from this healing (making oneself whole) process. People are motivated to achieve this healthy state. When the organization is promoting this healing while serving its stakeholders the system is in perfect balance and fulfills its destiny.

We practice and teach this healing in our lives, in our work in what we share with our clients. Based on the underlying dynamics of all human activity, our work is clear, direct and rooted in sustainable practices and understanding.
